Strength in Numbers: Women’s History Month Wrap-Up

Mar 31, 2022

SVP, People Success

It’s been said that women belong in all places where decisions are being made and the tech sector is certainly no exception. In fact, in a historically male-dominated field like tech according to Deloitte Global, in 2022, we will see that large global technology firms, on average, will reach nearly 33% overall female representation in their workforces. This is up 2 percentage points from 2019. While 2 percentage points may not seem significant on its face, it is progress and inspiration. This inspiration laid the foundation and soul of our new interview series as to explore and celebrate the unique insight and perspective that women bring to their roles while supporting women in every industry to continue the work they do to inspire more women to join the ranks and push the needle past the 33%.Women’s History month served as the springboard for the new Partnerize video interview series,  Women of Partnership. We kicked off the series intended to highlight the immeasurable contribution from brilliant women across the industry, by starting at home with the women leaders of our own business.

Beyond just words, Partnerize is committed to action where diversity and inclusion are concerned. We put our values at the heart of everything we do, and they consistently serve as our guideposts for decision making. We closed out the month with a company-wide roundtable discussion focused on women’s representation in the technology sector and the role we all play in continuing to attract, retain and grow that representation. We recognize the role all of our employees play in fostering an equitable and inclusive culture  across our global organization to drive the  future success of Partnerize and more importantly the ability to help our employees grow as humans.

Finally, to wrap up Women’s History Month, Partnerize would like to recognize the women who have been recently recognized with leadership appointments within the organization. A very special congratulations to Clare Conway on her appointment to Chief Operating Officer, Mandy O’Brien on her appointment to Vice President, Customer Success, Alix Simpson on her appointment to Vice President, Customer Success, and Jennifer Kilmartin on her appointment to Vice President, Information Security & Compliance.
