Director of Content

Partnerize works with some of the most successful and influential publisher partners in the industry. Our Partner Perspective series sets out to learn from the best of the best and pick up a few secrets to their success along the way.

In this installment, we highlight data-feed solutions provider, FMTC, with the help of their co-founder and CEO, Brook Schaaf.

Share a little about your company…

The company was formed in 2007. Like most successful startups, FMTC kicked off by solving an actual problem that one of our founders was encountering: staff was spending so much time fixing and categorizing the coupons and deals they were collecting from affiliate programs that they barely had enough time to drive traffic to the site.

So, a system was developed that would collect and scrub the data to a point where humans could easily double-check it, fix anything “weird” and deliver it to her site automatically throughout the day.

The move from an in-house solution for one site to a commercial product available to other sites in the market was a logical next step. Our founders created the product and began marketing it to affiliates.

What types of programs is your team looking to partner with?

Online retailers, e-comm sites, enterprise publishers, industry-leading affiliates. If you earn commissions by promoting deals or products, FMTC simplifies your workflow and saves you time: Get your affiliate links all in one place, error-checked and SEO-optimized.

Can you share a success highlight from your partnership with Partnerize that really stands out to you?

We’ve been business partners with Ascend/Pepperjam and Partnerize since 2006. We currently have 908 merchants using our integration to push almost 6,000 deals into our feeds and 11 million products into our product feed. And these numbers are only going up. In total, our feeds include data from 14 networks, 12,000 brands from 19,000 totaling 125,000 deals in our data feed, and 177 million products in our product feed.

What sets your company apart from others or makes it unique?

FMTC automates the process of populating coupon pages with affiliate offers, dramatically cutting down your time commitment.

What do you attribute your company’s success to with Partnerize?

Partnerize is an excellent platform, and our success is largely due to their fantastic and responsive team. “FMTC streamlines business operations and processes for large publishers, making it easier for them to work with some of the largest brands on our platforms. They are responsive, proactive, easy, and painless to work with.” – Haidrah Burke-Maduemezia, Partnership Director

What is one thing people should know about your company?

We don’t just have a *bunch* of data. Our team of stateside data processors categorizes, standardizes, and tests everything for you. We scrupulously find errors, bad links, and expired deals and fix them all.

What’s on the roadmap for your company?

Front and backend stack updates, cleaner data, new products to reduce friction.

Three words that best describe your company…go!

Agile, Expert, Techy
